Looking for anyone studying or wanting to study MOUS. I would love to have someone to discuss concepts and examples with. Maybe on a weekly basis or whatever suits. I wanted to start with either Powerpoint or Word.

Dear Eng,

I am MOS certified. Before you start your study, please do a cost-benefit analysis. I have been looking for a job for several months now. I decided to go to the Temp Agencies, and they seem to recognize my MOS certification. They want you to test again for everything they seem would qualify you for the job. If you already have a job and your boss told you that you might get a raise, go for it.

Anyways, back to your original question... I can try to help you whenever possible with your studies. Just let me know.

Are you knowledgeable about Visual Basic too? I was wondering where would be a good place to start learning Visual Basic. or VBA?

Dear friend,

I have worked a lot with Visual Basic 6.0 a lot. I have not done anything in VB.Net yet. Depending on what you want to do, my suggestion would be to buy one of those "For Dummies" or "Teach Yourself in 24 hours" book to get the jist of VB. But don't spend too much time learning the general stuff. Once you have the basics down, get a more specific book in Database programming or whatever you like to get a job in VB. If you try to learn everything, there is just too much to grasp. After the basic understanding of VB, try recording macros in MS Office. After you are done recording a macro, edit the macro and you will see a whole bunch of VBA code. VBA is just an application specific VB code. If you need further help, let me know.
