Plase help! Excel XP exam format?

| Hello! I am new to this forum. I am planning to take the Excel expert exam this weekend. I am not sure about what exam format it is? I thought it was a hands-on exam.. but some practise test online are mutliple choices... Please let me know!! and I need as much help as I can get if anyone have any tips or study guide.. THANKS A LOT! | |

| I don't think that the XP exams are written exam. I think they will be CBT based exams. If you want some great samples go to Microsoft.com; or Certyourself.com; or Examnotes.net. These websites offer free study guides and practice exams and will give you a better idea of the testing environment. Anyone else care to comment, particularly if I'm wrong? I ask because I have not taken an XP exam yet, but I've been studying quite a bit.

You are right. The MOS exams are not multiple choice and are hands on.

I'm confused. Is the exam multiple choice or no? What do you mean by 'hands on'? I have a group of students that I have been helping prepare for the MOS exams, and they have been using MeasureUp and InfoSource environments to prepare. Which of these environments are the exams most like? Help. I don't want to be unprepared or misinform anyone. Thanks for your help. | |

| The MOS tests are hands on meaning the actual application runs, and an Excel task must be performed.
The task must completed as specified in the question.
Tasks include formatting worksheets, using functions, and setting up printing.
The core level test that is.
No multiple choice except on the outlook exam. | |

| Here are the basic requirements to be a Master Instructor
1. Pass Word Expert, Excel Expert, Access, OUtlook, PowerPoint.
2. Have taught MS Office products in a classroom or training room setting for at least two years.
3. Fill out applications, and mail teaching verification to the MI instructor address somewhere in Utah.
4. Send $95 US dollars.
