| How is the Excel core? I have a friend here at work who does document control for our Lab. I was recommending that she take one of these test to help with future jobs but I know nothing about the format, difficulty, or study materials. Since our company pays for certifications she might as well take advantage of it. I appreciate any feed back. | |

If she is familiar with Excel it is not difficult. I took the Expert and passed up on the core because I have been working with Excel for 5+ years. If she is logical minded it is extremely easy. Once you get the hang of Excel the rest is a piece of cake. I would advise her take the exam, since it is reimbursed or paid for by the company and learn what the test is like.
Can't go wrong with a free test. Just MHO
