Email gets stuck in Outlook 2000 outbox

| Our emails have been getting stuck in the outbox on several different machines lately. I have tried to resend the individual emails with no success. The only successful way i got it to send was to reboot the PC and then resend the email. Is this a bug in Outlook 200. Only recently we have been seeing this problem. Any ideas or suggestions? | |

| Since no one else is talking to you about this problem, I thought I'd post some thoughts.
When you said "several different machines" I started thinking something wrong with the server,router,swithc,gateway ... whatever you are using. But then if it works when you reboot the PC, and not all the machines are having this problem, it sounds like the settings are wrong on the Outlook program itself, unless you are refering to dumb terminals as the PCs.
Anyway, I haven't had this problem with any of the Outlook 2000, and haven't heard from anyone else - yet - that this is a bug with the program. Not much help, I know, but Good Luck. | |

| I had 2 mailboxs in my outlook , but everytime I forward a message from mailbox 1
it made a copy of the message which appeared in the mailbox 2 outbox, and no amount of clicking send/receive would make it go away.
So I discovered it may be possible that I had a setting entered incorrectly in Outlook 2000.
Here is what I changed (which seems to have done the trick)
Tools menu, Options, Preferences tab, Email options, advanced email options
In folders other than the inbox, save replies with original message (take the tick off here)
