| Passed with a 945
Pretty tricky in some places. Lot's of crosstab queries.
Lot's of building objects from scratch and wizards. Know your functions, SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT.
KNow how to use the expression builder to build query formulas.

| Berg:
Did you pass the expert or core level? Also, based on having taken the test, would you say that someone who has passed the Access 2K expert would be able to pass the Access XP with the knowledge they already have, or is it a completely different animal? Thanks in advance for your insight. | |

| Although there were plans in the past to offer both Core and Expert versions of all exams, there are only Core versions of Access, Outlook and PowerPoint XP exams. The Microsoft Office 2000 User Specialist Study Guide by Courter and Marquis listed Core and Expert version objectives of all exams, including FrontPage and PhotoDraw Core and Expert. With the speed of which new versions of Office are designed, I doubt Certiport has time to develop these new exams. That's probably why they also dropped plans for the Project Expert exam in mid-stream. | |

| Yes, if you are pretty proficient in Access 2000, the test is not that much different. You do however really need to know what you are doing.
