| Y'all:
I am about to take ALL 5 Mous exams in order obtain my Master certification in the next 2 weeks. Any tips? Which exam do you think would be better to start with? I have a sound knowledge of nearly all the programs, except for the 'easiest' which I was only formally introduced to only about 3 months ago and although it is easy I am not too comfortable with the enviornment. | |

| I would suggest that you obtain the Certipoint software. It will give you somewhat of view of how the test is setup. The best of luck! | |

| I actually have the software and have done it so many times that I almost know which question is going to come next. But I am just hoping that the actual exam is as similar to the practice tests as can be.

| I would take the PowerPoint test first, as I found it to be one of the easiest. This way you get a good introduction to how the MOUS testing program actually works. It is very similar to the practice tests, but there can be a few quirky differences. I would leave the Outlook test for last. It is not difficult, but there can be some problems with it crashing and what not. I have found that it is better if you take this test after you know what to expect. As far as tips, I would say to make sure you read each question very carefully before you attempt to answer. The questions are sometimes vague and it can be easy to do the wrong thing. If you know the programs inside and out, though, I think you will find the tests to be a breeze. Best of luck on your tests. | |

| I wrote last month mentioning that I would be taking all 5 MOUS exams, and am happy to say that I passed all in one evening and am now a MOUS Master. Thanks for all your advice on the forum. God bless. | |

| Hi cm2gj:
The MOUS exams are not difficult, if you know the software. There are exceptions, of course... The Outlook 2000 and Expert (Word and Excel) tests were a bit difficult. Outlook mainly because of some tricky multiple choice questions.
Hope this helps .
