| Im not sure if I understand the requirements for the MOUS certs. On the website
http://www.microsoft.com/train_cert
I wanted to maybe pursue the Office 97 track compelting the Word 97, of the Expert Certification. Would that be my MOUS cert on Word 97?
Am I saying that correctly?

| Yes, your MOUS cert would be for Word 97. | |

| why go for 97 exams when 2000 and now XP are far more widespread and more in demand. having experience of older software is a plus but the qualifacations must be current or people will not hold them with the high regard they deserve | |

| Good point, the only reason I pick 97 is because that's all I have experience in. Like I said though, good advice. What's up with XP? I don't know to much about that one?

| XP is supposed to be Microsoft's next big step in the office suite and operating system market. I personally do not like it. There is not enough benefits to warrant a change from 2000. I personally think 2000 will be around for a long time, especially seeing as to register/activate XP for first time use, you are forced to telephone Microsoft. Maybe in a year or two XP will be worth looking seriously at for exams, but not yet, not by a long way. |
