| I just took the Excel and Word Expert tests yesterday, and although I passed them both, my scores for each were in the 800's. While taking the test, I felt that I had a very firm grasp on the material, and I didn't really encounter any tasks where I felt like I struggled. I finished both tests with about 12 minutes remaining on each. Now, I didn't expext a perfect score on either of them, but I thought that a score in the 900's on each was feasible, based on the lack of difficulty I had in understanding and completing the tasks. Does anyone have any advice or insight on what a test taker should do to help increase the likelihood that their question will be graded as high as possible? What I mean is, for example, if the question requires me to scroll down the page to complete a task, should I scroll back up to the original position of the page before completing the question? Should I close a dialog box, even if the instructions don't specifically mention doing so? Things like this may have unknowingly reduced my score even though I did the tasks correctly. I am just trying to get some advice before I take the Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook 2000 tests. Thanks in advance. |
