| I am taking the PowerPoint 2000 MOUS exam tommorow morning and I have a question about one of the questions I had on my last test that I failed. On one of the slides, it had a square autoshape with blue text inside. The autoshape was yellow. It said make the autoshape square so that it is the accent of the color yellow and in parentheses it said (darker yellow). For the text, it said make it accent to its color in parentheses (black). Would I go to... Format, Then slide color scheme? When I go to the custom tab, it has colors already filled in. Would I click change color on the accent square and change it to darker yellow and and click on the text and line box and choose black? Any help would also be appricated.
Thanks,

| I know what question EXACTLY your talking about.
Right click the autoshape and select Format AutoShape from the short cut menu. Click the colors and lines tab.
Click the down pointing triangle for the Fill color drop down list. There is a small row of colors above the main color palette. Slowly roll the mouse over the colors and you can see the ACCENT names pop up.
For the text inside the Shape, Highlight ONLY the text then click Format, Font from the menu bar. Select the font color drop down list arrow and select the ACCENT color choice from the row of colors that is just above the main color palette.
Drop me a line at berg891832@hotmail.com and I can send you a Screen Cam movie on the exact task.
