Wanshu,

Thanks for your time. But what their website says is different from what their Authorized training centre says.

I am keen to know what is the minimum pass marks required for the Outlook 2000 Paper. This is the last one I will be giving next week and finishing the Master Track(God Willing).

Hi, vcr,

I have just checked Microsoft website again and there is only one Outlook core exam.

I just took Excel expert and PowerPoint exam last Friday. I am planning to pass Access and Outlook this month and finishing the Mater Certification.

Please go the below link, you will find the information about Outlook exam, it seems it is an easy one. http://XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/certs/mous/ex...EditorialsID=23

You have passed Excel and Word expert so I know you definitely will earn your Master certification next week. Anyway, Good Luck!

Best wishes,

I recently sat the Outlook 2000 core exam in the UK ( only core available at the moment) The pass mark was a suprising 78%.

Because Outlook is a relativley small program MS seem to be having trouble finding questions..ending up with ones like : Which color(sic) is not available when you create notes
[A] Blue
[b] Pink
[c] Green

Ridiculous!

Needless to say I failed as I wasn't expecting this type of question. Lots of contacts/Tasks stuff in the exam.

Thanks for the feedback."Nothing succeeds like success". After all we are all humans.

Wish you the very best for your forthcoming endeavours.

By the way how many such Questions were on the exam? What about the total number of questions for the Outlook Exam?

Appreciate your feedback.

BEST REGARDS.

Hi, everybody,

Can anyone who lives in the US tell me the Outlook 2000 MOUS exam uses a performance-based environment or multiple choice format?

I'm a little bit confused. As I know Outlook exam uses a performance-base enironment but Sandbear said it use a multiple choice format. Please see the information here,
http://XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/certs/mous/ex...EditorialsID=23

Thank you for help.

Dear Wanshu,

I have also checked and re-checked this.Roughly 20% of the questions are in MCQ format, true or false, choose the correct answer type.

Sandbear's assessment is spot on. Even the link you have provided mentions that the exam is not much of a factor, but the technical aspects are. Like they need a special configuration for this test or a new test engine. Many centers dont have this.

All the best.
