Paisleyskye,

Have you taken any of these beta test for Office XP? If so, how different are they then the 2000 versions. (The test objectives look very similar to 2000 version.) Insight and good books anyone??

Thanks,
Hehemoney

No, I haven't taken any of the beta tests yet. It is my understanding that you have to apply to through Microsoft in order to take the beta exams for the Office XP MOUS certifications. They have the application form on the site at the link I posted earlier in this thread.

Filling out the application does not guarantee that you will be able write the betas, as Microsoft is treating these applications almost as job applications. They are picking the most qualified people from the applications to take the betas.

The objectives are very similar to the Office 2000 Exams, but you have to remember not much changed between Office 97 and Office 2000. I doubt there is much of change between Office 2000 and Office XP.

The exams will probably not go live until the third or fourth quarter of this year, and it is almost impossible to find resources for exams before they go into their live versions.
