Different versions of Excel 2000?

I noticed the excel 2000 at my job does not have the File | New... option in the menu but the version I have on my home computer does. At least as far as i can remember =). Anyway can someone confirm that this feature exist? am i missing something? thanks.

Never mind, as soon as I posted this I realized that menu was not expanding fast enough for me.
Guess I didnt have enough patience ;-)
