Author How much harder is the expert testing level?

2000-12-28, 3:59 am

Hi

I'm gathering info on MOUS testing for several friends (all office admin people). How hard are the tests? Is expert alot harder? Has anyone used Trancenders or any other practice test that simulate the actual tests? How do they compare? Any info is appreciate.

The tests are not easy, and seem in some cases harder than other exams because they are not multiple choice and involve altering actual documents.

It's not really that the expert tests are harder. The Core tests deal with everyday tasks, whereas the Expert exams deal with different tasks. In other words the Expert exams test a different skill set than the Core exams.

The best practice tests for the MOUS exams come from Self Test Software. These exams are practical and allow you to change documents, and very much simulate the real exams.

Also, if you get your hands on the LearnKey CD's you've got it made. The tests on those are also practical, and are very similar to the real exams.
