IPsolutions announces changes to its CCIE Lab certification training based on CCIE lab exam changes scheduled from Jan 2006.
IPsolutions' Cisco CCIE certification training : Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (Routing & Switching)
Changes scheduled for all CCIE batches:
Training will take into account lab changes coming January 1st 2006. Topics like ISDN, ATM, IS-IS will no longer be tested by Cisco for the CCIE lab exam from 2006 and will not form part of our training. Participants can expect more emphasis on MPLS, QoS and IPv6 in our training programs.
Hardware changes scheduled in October 2005:
In preparation for the lab changes coming January 1st 2006 IPsolutions is updating its CCIE rack and adding equipment that will support the latest IOS features & technologies participants would be expected to face in their lab exam.
Platform upgrades will occur on ALL routers. We will replace the 3620, 2610 & 4700 series routers presently used by 3640 & 2620 routers. ISDN & ATM will be removed from our CCIE rack.
Our main CCIE rack will basically consist of:
3 x 3640 routers
3 x 2620 routers
2 x 3550 catalyst switches
In addition to this, we will use 2500 series routers for Frame-Relay (2522), terminal server (2509) & as backbone routers.
