| Hi guys i passed ccie lab. Thanks to all the users here for the information.
I took 3months time and used cisco press books as a primary study tool.
And in the last two days i referred through the testking.co.uk's study guide, which also helped me alot.
All the best for your exams.
Cheers

| Just a few comments of my own personal opinion.
How much help has anyone on examnotes been to you since this is your very first post?
Nobody passes CCIE lab with just three months of study. Especially book study.
Also, testking is retarded and couldn't possibly help anyone pass the CCIE lab exam.
And with the very slim possibility that you actually passed the CCIE lab, if you used testking, you cheated anyway.

| Three months of book study - just when I thought the CCIE would be worth having. I think Cisco recommends 520 hours of hands on router experience after passing the written. | |

| People who pass usually have more than three years of direct hands-on experience with Cisco equipment. Also, people usually fail at least once or twice before passing. | |

| Well done mate on your pass!!!!
Unfortunately, like in other walks of life there are tosspots on here who only want to dis you if you don't conform to their way of thinking.
If you passed with only 3 months of study, then more power to you.
Lie back, get laid, get pissed or whatever gets your rocks off and enjoy the fruits of your labour.

1) You can't pass the CCIE lab by reading books for three months and using test-king dumps. Anyone who knows anything about the CCIE lab can tell you that.
2) wongh and camol, two of the biggest braindump/cheat-sheet promoters on EN were quick to "congratulate" you. Hell, you're probably all three the same person.
3) I had to put my waders on, because the sh!t was getting deep in here.
4) Anyone who believes you is very ignorant of what the CCIE lab test entails:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/learning...s/lab_exam.html
5) You are lying your a$$ off.
6) You should be sorry you're here.

| I have never seen, heard of even imagined anyone passing CCIE lab with 3 months of book study. You can do that to a CCNA / CCDA maybe. But not with a CCIE. No way. | |

| Sorry forgot to reply to the posts in general. 3 months with books and testkings passing the WRITTEN, I believe. Passing the LAB the first time dont buy it (par seems to be about 3).
As for me, I had 5 years experence, did lab pratice for 7 months and passed with an 80 the first time.

Your showing off now
I'm almost 10000 behind you @ 13466!!
I was very lucky, my boss released me from work almost full time for a year, unfortunately I failed 3 times!! In the end the pressure got to me and I needed a break, I took 9.5 months out with a stress free job, studied for 5 or 6 weeks then passed the day before my written expired - completely unplanned, I just wanted the written to be renewed for another year!! You don't get a score anymore, but I think it was very close - anything above 80 is a waste anyway

| I went in 1998, and back then in the 2 day lab you were graded after each 'module' IP, nonIP and troubleshooting. So knowing going into troubleshooting that I needed to get them all (I had a bad first day and lost 15 points), made a big difference in my stress level.
Of course the new lab is one 'big glop' so now you are correct. |
