Author ATM Switch gone very wrong.

Hi all, I haven't been able to contribute a lot here and nor have I posted much either. AND, I'm still working on my CCNA. Yeah, I'm guilty. If you believe that I'm much too premature to be considered for any reply in a CCIE forum, you're right. But seeing how ATM is only discussed in CCIE, I wanted to see if anyone is willing to give me advice on this. Well, the situation is that I got hold of a Cisco LS1010 ATM Switch which I was told that it was "operational". I must have been spaced-out pretty good because I just bought it off, -no questions asked-. I took it home and left it around for about a week until I finally brought myself to read up on this new box. I turn it on and confirm the usual lettering floating by until I get this "Power-on Diagnostics Failed" prompt. The following is the entire script output that I got:

Atleast what I can tell for sure according to the above is that there was some kind of bus error and none of the ATM or FDDI interfaces are being recognized. I know I'm am waytoo ill-prepared for this kind of stuff but am presently (more or less hysterically) searching and reading up on this issue. If you think this is a fatal or totally undoable matter, then it would save me some time and effort to let me know. But! if this is something that can be fixed with a little more research, please let me know of anything that might help. Pointers, clues, recommendations, anything is welcome. All thanks in advance!

I by know mean am a LS1010 expert, but it is odd...it does say there are no usable interfaces, yet your show ver shows that there is 1 ethernet and 8 ATM interfaces. Can you not see these interfaces in the config?
