| 2nd try. Barely made it. What a rough test...I'm not sure I'm going to make the lab in 18 months. I studied hard for this one, failed first time with 64%, passed second with a 70%. | |

Maybe you should also tell us what you have been doing in the meantime to study for your ccie written.

Well, I mean what I wrote.
I havent started studying for the CCIE written exam yet, and would like some guidance in the maze of books and learning material availaible for the exam. Since some of you have passed the written, I would like to know what is the best material to use (books, CD's, practice quizzes etc).

| What material are you using currently? And what is your background? I see that you've done your CCNA, but the rest of the CCNP courses, have you done some studying in that? Or you jumping straight into the CCIE field? | |

if you play it right you have 3 years, first attempt has to be within 18 months, next attempt within another 12 months upto a maximum of 3 years.
