ABOUT 6509's MSFC BOOT IMAGE , CAT IOS AND MSFC IOS UPGRADE

| Hello switching experts ,
I have 6509 switch . And i will upgrade it to 24 Mb flash (MEM-C6K-FLC24M) . And after that i want to install following software iamges on cat 6509 switch :-
IOS 12.1(19)E (c6msfc-dsv-mz.121-19.E1)
MSFC boot image upgrade to:-c6msfc-boot-mz.121-19.E1
CAT IOS for supervisor upgrade :-cat6000-supk8.7-6-1.bin
I think so i have to install 1st MSFC boot image , secondly Cat ios for supervisor engine and at the end MSFC IOS 21.1(19)E . If this is not the correct method then please tell me the proper way . And please give me a link which describes step by step method to upgrade these softwares . | |

| It doesn't really matter which order you do your upgrade. The switch and router run on different processors. I have done this many many times and I usually do the switch first. But that is just personal preference. I have done the router first and done them both at the same time. All of these methods worked.
