I have just finished my first pass of the Henry Benjamin, Cisco Press book. I think its one of the best computer books I have read and will be my companion for a long time, even if I call off my CCIE study.

The Saadat Malik book is REALLY heavy going especially up until chapter 6. I will have to study this book many times in order to understand it. Having said that it has given me insight into just more than the basics and plenty of ideas to try out.

I still have the CCSP books to plough through, so i will post again with my thoughts once i have.

Good Luck All.

I agree with you Carl_Docklands...

After my R&S last year now I started doing the Security I really find Henry's book very interesting and more informative....it would really be a bible to the Sec lab goers like the Karl Solie for the R&S takers!
