| How difficult is the security written? I know the old r&s written was a walk in the park. I just want to know if the sec. written is easy. And I already know that I should study hard anyways for the lab, so please don't point that out. | |

I would say the two are of comparable difficulty. But it focuses way more on security than I expected. The security lab has a large portion of general R/S stuff and I didn't think that this was reflected in the written. Still I would consider both to be a walk in the park if you know your stuff fairly well.

| Thanks for the reply MC. I too have heard there is a lot of R&S in the Sec. lab. Since I just completed CSS1 it seems I should be just fine for Sec. IE written. Since the CSI (CCSP) exam seems to be so tough, maybe a parallel can be drawn between CSI and Sec. IE written. Anyone have any thoughts? |
