Security LAB ambiguity

| I passed the security written about a month ago. And I have to say that compared to R&S, the resources of 350-018 are so few. Lucky me, I passed it from the first time.
I currently setup my security lab, but I am running now into the same problem that I had in the security qualification exam. Unfortunately it is unclear to me what kind of topics will or will not be covered in the exam.
By checking Cisco site, I can't even find a %100 clear answer on the topics that shall be cover in the LAB. They only have the blue print for the written test.
Anybody knows? I mean stuff like ATM LANE, how big token ring is in the exam, how big switching is, VoIP.. etc
Any help? | |

| Hit the groupstudy security mailing list and you'll pick up a few things. But don't expect to see people dumping on this one. It's still a relatively small crowd that's taken it and nobody is really spilling their guts.
First, if it's not on R/S, then I wouldn't expect to see it on security. So you can scratch LANE (which has been gone for a year or so) and kill Token after November.
Plus, they clearly state that there's no desktop protocol stuff, so scratch DLSw & IPX and the associated bits that go with them.
After that, if it's on R/S and doesn't meet the above exclusions then you should prepare to see it on the lab because it's all fair game.

| I am aware that the token ring will no more be there in R&S, but does that mean it will be taken of the ccie security lab as well?
What about multicasting then?
Anyway, my lab is not till March next year anyways, I will try to get something in Dec though.. | |

| poking around cisco's forum, I found this info pertaining to the # of ccie-security and this would account for the general lack of info or discussion on various group.
