Hey fellow Cisco-heads -

I am curious as to the methods folks have used to aquire CCIE lab gear at home, as I am looking to do so soon.

I have access to gear at work, but most of it is on our production network, and I can't be goin' and doing redistibution of routing protocols and things of that sort - so I would like to tap your creativity, but first I'll share and story of how a buddy got his:

I knew a guy that bought and sold Cisco press & Microsoft books on ebay, and after a couple of months made enough money to pay for some routers. Then he started buying and selling routers, and eventually ended up with all the gear for CCIE without touching his normal income.

How did you get your gear ?

Thanks,

Justin
