| Does anyone know about the correlation between the Activation Key and the serial number on the device? My question is if I can put an Activation Key from another device to enable the features I want for my lab, or does the Activation key get derived from an algorithym based on the serial number and the features you want? Obviously Cisco is not going to answer this question, but this is just for a lab at home that I want to enable failover to practice and dont want to pay another 3500.00 to do it.
Any help would be appreciated. |
