CCIE Beta Results??

| I called Prometric today and was told I passed the CCIE written Beta Exam I took May 6th. (exam 351-001)
However I do not think that this is accurate as I have seen similiar posts at studygroup.
Anybody else have this experience?

| I just called Prometric to schedule my written exam for Friday, and I was also told I passed the Beta. I am in disbelief at the moment, she is going to mail me a score report so I can verify that I did in fact pass.
She said that on beta exams, if they have not gone through all the results, they usually put "pending results" in that field until they are finished evaluating all the exams.
I went ahead and told her I didn't want to register at this time and would wait for the score report in the mail. I have not been contacted by cisco as of yet either.
I know that time for the old exam is running out, I think 7 days for the score report will be plenty, I will keep studying anyway in case I hear differently.

I have still not received my beta results. A lady at cisco emailed me yesterday and said the beta exams were still being evaluated and were not ready yet.

| Got my results through the post on Saturday 29 June. I guess it took longer to get out to NZ. I wasnt expecting to pass (2 1/2 weeks study but with 5 years Cisco experience)but had to a least sit the CCIE qualification exam as part of my job.
It was a real XXXXX, it almost made me want to have sat the current one rather than going for the cheap option  .
Opened the letter and saw the result and was stoked at the outcome. The pass mark Cisco have set is very low but I guess thats because the beta is usually a lot tougher than the regular exam will be. Anyway onwards an upwards to the Lab. All I have to do now is get work to make the bookings for me and away I go.
The good thing about being in NZ is that I get to Go to Sydney Australia for a week to sit the exam (woo hoo) |
