| Well, here goes. 60 days to my CCIE written. I've just finished CCDA,CCNA,CCDP,CCNP,CQS-Security, and the Wireless Spec.
I'm figuring that should ground me in *most* topics for the written.
Does anyone know of any topic areas/requirements that are 'surprises' on the CCIE written? Things that aren't covered in the above? I'm aware of ATM , which isn't a part of the CCDP/CCNP curriculum, and I'm working on it now, but.. anything else I should worry about?

| Thanks Eagle. I *know* about the page. I make a living doing Cisco-related work, and some days I live on Cisco.com.....
What I was asking is are there any other topics (like ATM) that you don't really encounter in CCNP/CCDP that I *missed* going through the outline.
Darth, thanks, you're right, TR doesn't show up too much through the Professional designations. Fortunately for me I worked with a Bank and a gov't office that were completely TR / FDDI networks. 32 floors of unlabeled TR cables eventually gives you a good understanding of the medium, when you're the guy who has to re-architect it inot something documented and manageable.
The reason I'm worrying is because.. I found the tests *easy* so far. I've taken 2 Associate, 2 professional, and 1 CQS cert, plus the wireless, and my poorest score was 912. I did the IDS exam from a book having never seen the product, and did most of the other exams on 2-3 days of study. I don't know what other people's experience is like, but it's making me a bit worried that I'm either missing something or that the CCIE written is *way* harder than the rest.

| I do work with the gear a lot; is it simply that Cisco's exams are actually that based on 'real-world usage' and not theoretical use? And.. and.. they're actually asking how the industry does things, rather than looking for a prescribed 'cisco' answer?
Exam, Jul 11. I'm praying.
