Hi all,I just finished my ccnp track and i intend going for the ccie R&S written exam.I need advice on the books to use for the preparation.

Jeff Doyle Vol 2
and rest of your CCNA & CCNP books

Reading Lan switching won't harm you also .

point and again during lab prep.

But jeff doyle does not covers halabi book ? and caslow is for lab i had heard . and solie is for lab according do the info given to me .

Thanks guys.I understand NLI's study guide by Dennis Laganiere and Brad Ellis is also very good.What do you guys think about this book.

I do not know about the NLI book but I had ccnp too when I took the written. That experience plus the token ring paper (mentioned many times here), I read Caslow; used this cool rif generator http://www.loopy.org/rif.cgi
and this site: http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td...o_doc/index.htm to fill in the gaps.
