| People-
I have read Caslow and it was good. It did help me prepare for the written test. Does anyone have any suggestions regarding what text was beneficial for them with the LAB?
Passed written on the second try. Taking it the first time 63; next time 90. I read Caslow, and boson 3 was helpful in understanding the material. Token ring paper was good too. I read someone said to read it 10 times. That was a suggestion to which I should have payed some attention.
Also: As well as all the books for NP and DP.
Keep trying and you will succeed. If I can, You can.

| I'm looking at CCIE Practical Studies (Solie, Ciscopress, there was an earlier thread on this book). There are also some scenarios in Routing TCP/IP Vol1. I think that Vol.2 should have some as well although I don't know these scenarios compare to the actual lab.
Some indepedent, CCIE-run training companies sell lab scenarios (not cheap though) and I'm looking at some of them. From the feedback I've read so far, these scenarios are really tough and I thinking of getting one for myself. One of these I always see on eBay is "Mentor Tech ECP1: Cisco CCIE Lab WorkBook v2".
Could someone let me know if you come across any of these as well? I could use some good feedback...Thanks!! |
