| How do I resolve this error message that keeps coming up on my screen? Thanks guys.

| I used to get that constantly on a 26** series router set up by Empower.
Looked just like this:
%Error opening tftp://255.255.255.255/frobnitz.cfg (Timed out)
And it was really persistant as I am sure yours is. Really interupts your typing, eh?
Frobnitz was the hostname.
I specified a default TFTP server and copied the config and reloaded and Viola!
Error gone.
You can also not send error messages to the console.
And use:
no logging console to reduce the load on your CPU if that's being affected also.

| Why not just change the "system boot" parameter to either NVRAM or FLASH!!!!! much easier if you ask me. |
