Just recently passed the written and I am aware that I have 18 months to take the lab and must at least score a 20.

My question is this. After I am certified CCIE, what is the duration of the certificate? I beleive the CCNP/DP's are all approximately 3 years but what about the CCIE. And when it expires, what is required to recertify (i.e. need I only pass the written and/or the lab, etc.)

Thanks.

From what I have seen at CCO, you have 2 years.

This link should answer your question.

2 years, you need to take a written exam for recert.

You must score at least a 20 to avoid having to wait 6 months between attempts. You must score at least an 80 to pass.
