Author Error in Anthony Bruno Book

Hi,

My letter to Cisco Press:

Hi- I believe I found a major technical mistake in the Anthony Bruni CCIE Routing and Switching book. Specifically page 144, on SRT. ( The RII field ) The book states that:

" 0, means a RIF is present, use the SRB algorithm

1, means a RIF is not present, the frame is transparently Bridged. "

All other references I have of 802.5 say the opposite is true. 0 means no RIF. 1 means a RIF is present.

Please check this. Pretty major error considering the technical detail of the CCIE exam.

Thank you,

Justin

looks like a typo
there are also several mistakes in
ccie practical studies, but it's still a good book
read rossi's token ring white paper.

in the rii

0 = no rif
1 = rif is present
