Hey Dudes;

A quick question for someone who knows what a FRACL is. I know that RACL are " Reflexive Access lists " and I know what those do. So what is FRACL ? Firewall Reflexive Access lists ? Anyone ?

Thanks,

Justin

So far many of you are a clueless as me to the FRACL mystery ( either that or just don't care - which is okay )

Here is what I found out

RACL ( according to CCO ) is:

Router Access Control List

The only place the term FRACL is listed on CCO is for the exam objectives for CCIE. I can only assume that FRACL must mean:

Firewall Router Access Control List

I am going to email Cisco and see if they can shed light.

I am going to be thorough as hell on this exam

More soon,

I only found the one reference as well. Since it appeared under Bridging and Switching area I thought I would check my switching book by Clarke, but no luck there either.

Let us know what you find out.

Ah ha ! I emailed the Cisco CCIE contact for the USA and he emailed me back

( and I quote )

" Oops! Typo. Should be VACL. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. "

No wonder . . . VLAN Access control Lists make a hell of a lot more sense.

Hope this helps you guys out . . .

Peace,

Justin
