| Which book is up to date with new CCIE written exam practise?
Any idea?

| The only book that I have seen specifically for the IE written is the one from ciscopress. The exam certification guide by A. Anthony Bruno.

| I have the Bruno book, and while it is a great book, it is almost what I consider "exam cram". It has the concepts but not the in-depth explanations. That book alone will not get you through. The most essential library is Routing TCP/IP vol. 1 & 2- Doyle, CCIE Resource Library - Caslow, and the test simulation from Boson (especially test #3). It's an expensive proposition, I know, especially if you have begun to build a home lab, but it's worth it. (for me anyway ) Keep in mind the broad range of technologies to be tested, more than they can fit on the exam. Since the question pool is so diverse you need to be an expert on many many technologies, so I don't expect there will ever be a 1-stop-shop book for this exam.
My $.02
