| I have recently completed my CCNP and CCDP. I am ready to pursue the CCIE Certification. I need some recommendations as to which books I will need to purchase. Right now, mainly the written exam. I have all of the books related to CCNP. Please help. | |

| Aken,
The following should help...
CCIE Prep Library TCP/IP Vol.1
INternet Architectures by Halabi
Bridges, Routers and Switches by Caslow/Pavlichenko
I just got antother one today from QUE (PREP KIT, Routing and Switching)
Good luck....

| Are you talking about the written exam or the lab exam? I'd recommend (2) different study approaches for each.
For the written exam, we have a really good book written by Dennis Laganiere and several CCIEs. (Email me offline for more information) The boson practice exams usually seem to be really good as well. I havent seen the examnotes on THIS site, so I cant comment on them. (If the owners of this site want to send them to me, I'd be happy to do a review)
For the lab exam, these two should be your "core" books:
Caslow
Halabi
You can then add:
Solie
Hutnik/Saterlee (all-in-one)
Doyle
After that, depending on your weaknesses, there are different routes (no pun intended) that you can choose. |
