| I was wondering if you are nervous about possibly becoming a CCIE in October? It seems the CCIE is held out to be an expert on all things networking and that is a lot of pressure. There is so much information to learn, it seems that, once a person becomes a CCIE, they could become targets. You know, people wanting to stump the expert.
Have a thoughts about this sort of thing?

| Kwftide you bring up a very important point about what and how ccie is perceive by fellow colleagues. Let me give you an example of my personal experience so far being in technology field for 5 years. I am 27 male now living Tennessee and I work for accounting firm deploying and maintaining a wan infrastructure for about 80 sites. Right now I am only engineer on staff with ccnp, ccdp and I am currently youngest on staff with total of five engineers. How I have learned to integrate myself into the group without being a hothead is too not talk about my certifications, but show that I totally committed to working as team player along with my staff. As certified person am supposed to know everything within our network that consist of servers, swithes, routers, firewall, T1, T3, and not to mention those dam
3com boxes hell no, however you’re level of knowledge when compared to individual who only is an mcse on the lan side should be more in-depth than that individual. Not that I am putting down the Microsoft program, but for the wan portion that’s where my certifications counts along with experience. Now Kwftide to answer your question specifically about becoming a target once I become Ccie, well I know right now the level of respect amongst my colleagues will probably change to certain degree not to mention more Wan projects for future upgrades will probably be assign to me. Lets say if for some god bless day I do pass that exam I will make sure to post my job as well as my career experience as a ccie…
