I have a IBM 8228 Token_Ring MAU and 2500 routers with Token-Ring port. The MAU uses the IBM Universial Data Connector.
Does anyone happen to know the cable pinouts or how to MAKE a cable to connect 2500 router token-ring port to the MAU ?
I have a IBM notebook Toke-ring adatptor card with a RJ45 output, does anyone know how to the cable pinouts for RJ45 to IBM data connector.

You should be able to buy an adapter that runs from the IBM MSAU type to RJ45. I know they exist since I used them when installing individual sites for Holiday Inn. I have no idea where you can obtain them, cause they were always supplied to me.
