| Hi all,
I am trying to gather some books for CCNP/CCIE. I am looking at the most cost effective way for book purchases. I currently have all the CCNP books in the Preparation and Certification library, and I can still return them if I want. My questions are
Would you use those two libraries to get pass CCNP, and buy additional books for CCIE?
Or
Return the BSCN and BCMSN for CCIE Routing TCP/IP Volume 1 and CCIE LAN Switching? So I’ll be using CCIE Routing and Switching with CCNP Certification Guides for those 2 tests. Has anyone try this method? Does it work well? (I don’t care about the books being overkill at NP level, since I’ll have to learn them one way or another.)
Also, which book is better? Bassam Halab’s Internet Routing Architectures, or Jeff Doyle’s Routing TCP/IP volume 2 for BGP?
I am just trying to buy a “core” set of books that can last me the longest, since Cisco books are rather pricey. Thanks for any info. |
