Which way to go? CCDA or CCNP

| Hi;
I'm going to be writing my CCNA on Monday and plan to go for both the CCNP and CCDA certs.
I'm looking for some feed back on which I should way is the best. Should I go for the CCNP first and then the CCDA, or CCDA first, then CCNP?
I realize the the final choice is obviously mine, but I'm trying to find out which makes the most sense both in terms of progression, and ease of studying.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks

| I take the CCNP first, then basically combine the study for CCDA & CID and do it nearly together. | |

| I took CCDA after finishing CCNA, but I don't think the order matters. | |

| I would go through the CCNP curriculum first, then CCDA last. CCNA, CCNP are now IP only, CCDA and CID require full desktop protocol work.
This means the CCDA and CID are expanding the amount of material you need to know. I did mine in this order:
CCNA
BSCN
BCRAN
BCMSN
CCDA
CID
I'm taking CIT, and the security specializations next.
CID has been the hardest so far, but not because the material is hard; the exam is poorly constructed. |
