Anyone know how to use remarks in the IOS? I know you can "remark" access lists after 12.0, but what about in other areas of the config? I'm wondering if there is another command that will allow me to note where a sub-interface is pointing when I use unnumbered (besides the Description field).

Any ideas?

You can remark a startup-config file on your PC and upload it to the router NVRAM through TFTP.
Don`t know any other ways other than TFTP it back to the router after remarking it offline.
Anyone have better solution?
