I have an 8 MB Flash for my 2503, and I am thinking to load an IOS that is more than 8MB.
Can I have one more 8 MB Flash in another slot and make it as 16 MB Flash? Is this possible? If Yes, how can I configure it?
Thanks,
Orcs

yes, you can.

But, you will need to combine the two flash together.

If I'm not wrong, the command would be

no partition flash

Well, if 2 pieces of 8Mb will give you a 16Mb and your IOS is more than 8Mb, definitely, it's not going to work.

But, if I did not remember wrongly.....
If your IOS is less than 8Mb and you take out one of the flash(not containing), it will still work.

I think you better try it on a non-production/ non-operational router just in case I remembered wrongly

I had a similar issue some time back you need to use the "PARTITION" command
