Well Darth, for the written test you will need the caslow book that you already have and try to get yourself the ccprep.com practice questions... I tried it before taking the test and found it pretty good.. The questions actually are in the same format as on the real test and it really helped me alot on my CCNP and written test, so give them a try. I actually went to their bootcamp in Florida. I guess that should be enough other than the books you have.. But, I mean.. It is all up to you.. Do you only want to pass the test or do you wanna learn the material inside or out? If you have hands on, then it shouldn't matter because you actually pass it with your experience and brushing up on the books.. good luck on your test and hope you come back and let us now how it went..

ready. i know there a lot of work to do after
passing the written. i'm here for the long run.

Ok, CCPREP will provide you with practice questions which you will need to purchase. I guess you would be able to kick this test out of the way... and yeah!! GO YANKEES!

darthfeces, I am in the same boat as you I was told on my job that I now need to complete the security track and gain advance Cisco Security knowledge. So I am now gunning for CSS1 starting this year and if you haven't already sign up for cciesecurity. yahoo forum sign up. Not to take any thing from this forum, however you have a number of ccie(R&S) going for the security so the knowledge we gain from them can pass to here. If there are any other members starting lets start meeting in Cisco specialist forum. Oh yeah www.walmart has Cisco intrusion detection book for $35.00 that’s cheaper than bookpool.com..
