Hi,

First of all congrates on ur success. By the way, I am booked for my exam on 29th of this month.

Can u let me know about the weightage of the topics? Well, pl. spare some time to tell me about the kind of Qs u got as that will be ur great favour to me. By the way, did u got any typing Qs?

Regards / Kalpesh

No typing Q's. Focus on WAN and IP routing protocols. Use Caslow's book, it is outstanding.

Yes, that is almost exactly what I used. Find a partner too. My roomate is on the same track I am, we are consultants at the same company, we just go to the bar and talk about Cisco technologies all night (great for picking up the ladies, NOT)

You may find out you are too far away from real CCIE, espcially when you start work on the CCIE lab, at least I have this kind of feeling even thought I already prepare for 5 months.

If money is the only reason behide CCIE, you will run out steam eventurally.

All,

when you generically refer to the caslow book are your refering to this book ?

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/A...9613503-5189605

I just started studying for my CCIEw and Ive been using strictly Cisco Press (routing tcp/ip, Lan Switching). Ive been hearing a lot about this Caslow book in this thread and just wanted some clarity...

thnks

yes, its designed for lab prep ,
but it helps to tie together all lab topics for the written and make them real.

i've heard someone say to read it for written prep
then read it again !!!! as a piece of your lab prep.

I have bought Caslow's book and Jeff's routing TCP/IP volumn 1 book and ...

i think it is enough to pass CCIE W exam.
