| Does the survey really count into your score? | |
| darthfeces 2001-10-20, 12:20 pm |
| um ... no its just a survey
some test are on a scale of 300 to 1000
so i guess you get 300 for just showing up
like the sat. | |

| Hi darth
Before you sit the exam (immediately before the written starts) Cisco have a 15 minute survey (about 9 questions). The say it's to gauge your experience, to see how well you do, blah blah blah
Don't know (or care!) if it counts towards your final score. After all, if you're relying on a survey to help you pass, then methinks you're in trouble deep!!
Keep up the work...

| thanks ,
i've taken a survey for every exam is this one
different ?? | |
| adignan 2001-10-22, 8:43 am |
| Only difference on this one is that it explicitly says that the survey will be used to determine your passing score. | |
| darthfeces 2001-10-22, 8:54 am |
| since the passing score can vary ,
based on a statistical representation of current
passing scores it must be used to move
a "sliderule" to determine the passing score of your test. | |

| I really don't think this survey is any different than any of the other pre-test surveys we've all filled out. Jeez - if they used the "how much experience" question as one that was counted somehow towards your final score they'd be in court for the rest of this century fighting with people that didn't pass the test...just my 2 cents. | |

| i aggree thet it is pretty moot
but it may be used to adjust a passing score.
a higher standard for instructors and cisco
employees |
