| Pass the written today. And I don't think it is 300 to 1000 scale.
Questions with choose all that apply and didn't tell you how many are correct and many times there are an options "None of the above". Damn.
Questions about RIF in DLSw & bridging, not have a single ideas. Better know RIF in token ring. No decnet questions but one in appletalk. Routing questions are easier than the CCNP. Many questions have unclear answer. And some questions are ridiculous like what is the administrative distance for certain routing protocol. You can go back and review your questions. I use the boson CCIE practice test but seen it doesn't help much. Also have ATM & Voice questions.
I don't have much preparation specially for this exams, just use the knowledge from CCNP preparation.
Now is the real business, => CCIE lab.

I look at the exams outline, there are not much left which I don't know after CCNP, but I have CCNP specialization too- Security, Voice & ATM. | |

USA or the nearest to HK, Beijing or Tokyo?

| Marking is 0 to 100. Pass mark is 70.
Prepare for lab, no ideas how long because it is difficult to find 2nd hand cisco router in here suitable for the lab. Any suggestion where I can buy equipments?
The closest lab will be Singapore or Beijing.

| You can check e-bay or other auction sites. That is about all I can say. Good Luck on the Lab. How long has it taken you to get to the level where you feel you are proficient enough to take the CCIE. I want to get mine, and I figure it will take me 4 to 6 years to get the neccessary experience I would need to be able pass it |
