hey all,

I am scheduled to take the Server+ exam this coming Monday and have been using the Self Test software in prepping for the exam.

In the learning mode, My average score has been 88% on 20 exama and in the certification mode my average score is 95% with 6 exams.

With these averages, would it be safe to say that I would be ready for this Monady?

Thank you in advance,

Kevin

Not a complete wash but I still did not pass. with a passing score of 75% I ended up with a score of 66%.

Back to the drawing board and study with a different point of view.

Good luck on the next round! Looks like you have the basics.

Summarize all the key points from your notes, this time round when you go thru' the study guides. I used Trevor Kay's Server+ bible and passed on my first attempt.

Kevlapp,

Sorry to hear about the fail. We've all been there at some point. I'd recommend, as Kuek did, review and attack it again, while it's fresh in your mind. 66% certainly affirms you knew the majority of the info.

I, too, used the Server+ Bible when I took this one a couple years ago. I found it to be a good study manual.

Noticed you've project+. Has getting certified p+ made any difference to your career (pay, promotions, etc.)? On a rating of 1-5 (5 being the most beneficial).

Thinking of getting p+ certified.

Simulated exams are good though, but for me it not enogh .Its still the best to have a study guide (a book will be great!) Goodluck!
