| Even if there isn't any official order to take these, I just want to know the intelligent logical order.
I would assume that the knowledge of servers naturally stems to the more specified topic of security, which would mean server+ should come first. | |

| The CompTIA Security+ certification tests for security knowledge mastery of an individual with two years on-the-job networking experience, with emphasis on security.
Server+ certification is a standard of competency for mid- to upper-level technicians responsible for server hardware functionality.

| Security+ is an advanced certification. There are many topics covered that wouldn't make much sense to the entry-level technician. This isn't the type of cert that you would get, just to have it. If it is of serious intrest to you , then deffinately do some in-depth research on the subject. | |

| yes a quick cert dont make your career a good understanding and the ability to do the aspects of you job start at the bottom and climb up the ladder not start at top and climb down. | |

| Don't waste your time getting this cert unless you work for an OEM service provider or someone is paying it. All a server is a bigger desktop PC with more ram and hdd's. GO for SEC+ it'll look better on your resume and you can actually use what you learn. How hard is it to replace a hot swap drive?? |
