Hey all,

Passed my A+years ago and Network+ beginning of this year and now working on MS certs.

I just started looking at Server+ and it appears to be along the same difficulty as Network+, My question being is how much studying is needed for Server+? I have heard that in the exam, alot of Netwok+ and A+ is mentioned. Is this true or is Server+ a whole different beast. Going over some of the practice exams, I seem to know the answers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Server+ is a whole new beast compared to A+ or N+. The exam is targeted at the technician with 2 years SERVER experience.

I agree. It is totally different from A+ and N+. It is considerably more difficult as well.

To some degree, Yes. Server+ is very hardware centric. Security+ deals more with concepts and configuration.
