| Nevermind... I won't be needing your notes anymore. (Thank you for the offer, however.)
The test was very easy, but make sure you guys study your RAID levels and backup procedures!
Best of luck to all. | |

Well, all of my notes are done the old-fashioned way - on paper
If you're really interested, I can send you a paper copy of my notes. Email me at jburstyn@centennialcoll
ege.ca if you like.
If I can offer you some tips:
1) Make sure you know and understand tower of hanoi and GFS backup methods. For example, there are many scenario-based questions on the exam where, for example, you are asked how many tapes are required to restore from a certain point. It's mostly logic, so if you're confident about your GFS-backups, you'll do fine.
2) Make sure you understand SCSI, SCSI termination types, and definitely the SCSI-levels. For example, you might get a question that indicates a sys admin is trying to reuse old HVD devices in a new, LVD-based server. Can he use his old components safely? Other types of questions you might see about SCSI:
What kind of termination did SCSI-II require?
A client calls you and complains that they can no longer see their CDROM after adding a new SCSI device. What could be wrong?
3)You'll also want to ensure you are familiar with the Unix/Linux commands for shutdown. Luckily, I see you're studying for Linux+, and I have a little bit of Linux knowledge, so this part was easy.
Oddly enough, there were no Netware questions that I can recall from my exam. Lucky me
Best of luck chief, but I'm sure you will do just fine.

| I feel like such an A-hole right now. When I redid my e-filter a couple of months ago I must have accidently put all e-mail from examNotes to go directly into the trash. I apologizies I for not coming back and check on things. instad of e-mailing the notes to everyone here is a link to the word file.

I'll try and get up a little page on my playsite and post all the notes that I hav for various exam in diffenrt formats.
Again I'm really sorry!
