Just nail down the Server+ exam this morning
|
|
|
| Hello all. I just passed the Server+ exam this morning. (got 82% and 75 % is a pass)Thanks for the tips from felixx44 and Robert Bogue's Top Ten Tips for Passing the Server+ Exam, both definitely help me to pass my exam.
For me, I also used the Exam Cram book and any free study guides from the net.
In fact, my exam is very simlar to the for felixx44. No need to memorized the SCSI chart but for sure you need to know the following :
(1) The basic of RAID
(2) Diaster receovery plan
(3) Set SNMP thresholds
(4) recognize and report on server room environmental issues
(5) Identify bootlenecks (I/O, processsor)
In other words, know all the basic thoery and make sure why the answer are wrong.
So good luck to all people who are planning to take Server+ exam later on.
Next one will be CDIA+, if anyone got some good leads for this exam study materials, please kindly let me know ASAP.
Thanks in advance. | |

| Woohoo!! I was nervous as hell, but I just passed it myself. I don't understand why my score was as low as it was, but it was STILL PASSING. I don't understand why the questions (many of which I'd seen word for word in a certain exam book, with the answer key and explanation) asked were scored as incorrect, but it's all over now.
Next up, Network+ Congrats on passing!

As many have learned the hard way the accuracy of several of the books on the market is in question. I think that static procedures just came up with an answer in opposition to the society that certifies sparkies.
Congratulations to both of you and any other new members that I may have missed.
