I know this question is way off the purpose and rationale (...just trying to sound smart!) of this forum, but I prefer to come back to my hommies when in doubt:
-What are the differences between Comptia Security+ and Microsoft MCSA+Security?
-What are the professional goals of each one?...and
-What would You suggest?:Comptia Security+ plus MCSA? or MCSA plus MS Security?
Thanx

What happened?
-Nobody knew the answer?
-Was I too way off?
-Nobody loves me here anymore?

Anyways...The answer is here:

And YES Sec+ qualifies to upgrade your MCSA.

Thanx

Security+ encompasses objectives which serve as a prerequisite for the requirements included in the MCSE + Security which acts as an underpinning to COMPTIA's security objectives. These parameters are incorporated into MCSE + Security only to the extent that core security objectives are self-contained in a manner that negates the need for security as it is defined by Microsoft. Any discrepencies between both the core and peripheral concepts are reconciled by adhering to a strict interpretation of the Microsoft security precepts as delineated in its declaration of intentions as disseminated by COMPTIA.
