I just sat for the HTI+ beta. 120 questions in 1 hour (they give you 2). Nothing drastic. If you have ever done any high-end audio/video plus networking, you should give it a try. Very applicable to the SOHO market. Some broadband, home automation, cable/satellite, security and HVAC thrown in, as well. oh, and telephone too. I just finished the TIA CCNT and CTP so I was primed.
With these guys as Cornerstones, I figure it will be marketable.
Best Buy
Bradford Learning
CompUSA
Whirlpool
Cisco Systems, Inc
Heathkit Educational Systems
Home Director
Honeywell
InternetHomeAlliance
Marcraft
Panasonic
Sears Roebuck and Co.

CompUSA has jumped into home automation in a big way.

Now for Security+... and ASCP in there somewhere.

I didn't know he had one?
and if he does, I don't know that I would trust it yet, seeing as how it just went into beta.

Sorry. I should have ended my question with one of these:

It's a bad habit.
